Metcalfe Briggs Surveyors is the result of the coming together to two surveying practices both of whom have a formidable pedigree.

Metcalfe Stanley Hicks has been in business for 17 years under the leadership of Richard Metcalfe FRICS. During that time the practice has built a reputation for professional building surveying services serving particularly the commercial, further education, church and managed residential property sectors. In a nut shell the practice has found that by listening to what our clients want and providing considered advice pays dividends. Experience has shown that clients do not want an off the peg solution but advice and actions that are specific to them. Our longstanding clients are testimony to the success of this approach.

Peter Briggs Associates is a name well known in the realm of Housing Associations, RSL’s and Local Authorities. As well as running a very successful business providing a full suite of surveying services for Social Housing, Peter Briggs has served at senior level on the boards of a number of Housing Associations and been instrumental in a number of stock transfers over many years. This thorough knowledge of the business translates into an efficient operation focused entirely on Social Housing surveying requirements.
